I am a massive fan of Twitter and find it very useful for keeping up to date with all the latest news and events, but more importantly, connecting and engaging with other twitter users.
What is the point of signing up to twitter and not communicate with other people who are using it?
From hashtags, @replies, lists, searches, feeds there is so much you can do with twitter and get a lot out of it…if you know how to maximise it’s potential.
Someone who has maximised it’s potential is Mark Shaw. If you want to know how to use Twitter effectively follow him at all costs.
He has also written a book called ‘Twitter Your Business‘ which guides you through all the various aspects of Twitter to get you up and running. You can purchase this book fby clicking on the below image. If you are serious about using Twitter, this book is worth every penny.

With so many different phones, tablets and gadgets available at the moment – most of which all do the same thing – what was your best technology purchase of 2011?
I bought 3 main tech items last year:

Kindle 3G Wi-Fi
For me the Kindle was by far the best purchase. The amount of money it has saved my buying books, not to mention the bookshelf space saved, is unreal. I recently bought 3 books for under £4 that would have cost me over £30 for the physical books.
Whilst on holiday earlier in the year I took a few books with me on my Kindle, some of which were free, and they didn’t weigh a thing which helped save on my baggage quota. It’s not quite the same sitting around the pool not holding a real book, but at least the pages wont fall out when the glue on the spin melts!
The Kindle Store is now probably the online shop that I visit the most, I’ve picked up some really good books from there by authors that I’ve never heard of, but will now read many more of their books.
The bookshelf may look a bit neglected now, but my wallet is a lot happier. If you enjoy reading the investment in the Kindle is well worth it.
